Kalki Henenberg hails from Melbourne, Australia. Kalki experienced an epiphany whilst viewing the Coen brothers' classic film - The Hudsucker Proxy and has been hula-hoop obsessed ever since. Combined with her longtime love of dance, dress ups, and all things carnival, hoops have propelled her around the world several times; from the stages of NYC with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, via Alaska with Circus Boreal back to the cafes, bars and festivals of hometown Melbourne. For Kalki hooping is essentially a spiritual pursuit akin to snake handling.
